Sounds like the drive gear on the module ( AP3177342) may no longer be making good electrical contact. If the stripper fingers are not at the 2 o'clock position, and if you can tap the gear and have it move a bit, then the module has failed.

The ice maker does not turn out ice. It sounds as if it is filling on occasion. There is alittle wheel that if you tap it it will turn for a short turn. Which part and what would it's name be that might assist us in having a working ice maker again?
