Go to the general talk section and put in the search box "Maytag Performa washer snubber replacement". You will need to buy longer brake housing screws and it's helpful to have another person to get the springs back in place.

please help
i bought this machine used it is level , it shakes badly and moves across the floor. i read a couple other problems other people were having and after taking front cover off i did see a little plastic fileings where the snubber would go , not very much but there is some. if i start it up with top up and push down on drum shaking stops and its quiet as could be which makes me think the springs are week. please advise me how to best fix this and how to fix it, snubber? springs? or both or maybe something else thank you joe
