It could be the auger motor, the switch behind the dispenser panel, or even a broken wire in the bundle below the bottom door hinge. My guess is the wire so you may want to take a look and see if you find a broken wire in the bundle running from the lower hinge then behind the lower grill. If the wiring looks good, I would check for voltage to the motor with the door switch actuated and pressing the ice paddle. If no voltage, time to look at the dispenser. If you do have voltage, then the motor needs replacing.

Ice maker makes lots of ice but it will not dispence through the door. When we push the lever in the door the light comes on and I hear a click but nothing comes out. Doesn't matter if the ice bucket is full or empty. We still get water in the door and plenty of ice in the bucket. Could this be the motor that turns the auger?
