Brian, thanks for the suggestion on how to manually turn off the ice maker. It worked great. Now I just need to order the sensor board and complete this repair.

Thanks for all your help !!!

Sounds like the relay on the sensor board (AP3137510) is shorted and needs to be replaced. You can also manually turn off the ice maker by looking at the module on the left side. Look for a round, white spot inset into the black housing that looks like you could put a screwdriver in. Go ahead and put a screwdriver in the slot and turn it clockwise until it stops (about 1/4 turn). To turn the unit back on, turn it back.

Hello, I have a Kitchen Aid Superba (model KSRS25IHSS02) that will not stop making ice. The on/off switch does not work nor does the photo sensor recogize a full ice bin. Tried shutting off the water but the ice machines still cycles.

Is there a way to simply turn off the ice maker? Could this be a simple switch replacement? Or is the switch and photo sensor all connected the the PC board.

Thanks for any suggestions or help. Maybe its time for a new Frig.
