I have an old GE range(1974 I think). Model number jbp260w1wh.(the zero might be an "oh") The other day the buzzer from the timer kept going off at random intervals even though it was set to zero and I was not using the range.I would turn the timer and set it back to zero but later the buzzer would go off again. The time it takes to go off seems to vary. The only way I have got it to quit is to flip the breaker off.It is not a very convenient solution especially when you need to use the range. I tried to remove the top to remove the clock/timer but the top seemed to be held down in the middle ,even after removing the end top screws. Is there a service manual that will tell me how to disassemble this range so I can remove the suspect part? Also is there something with an exploded view diagram that has part numbers so I can find a replacement?
