Good job. I'm glad it's fixed. Check valve and the pump in general would have been the next thing I'd ask you to check.

The reason why I pointed you to the airgap first was because it's a good idea to start troubleshooting from a) the most common cause b) most simple things to check. For example, if your appliance doesn't show any signs of life, check the circuit breaker and the plug first, before taking the control panel apart, etc.

By the way, check the door. Make sure there is no hole where the plastic button used to be.

thanks for your fast reply
I pulled the drain hose off at the check valve and it was badly
plugged with lint and such and also a plastic button that holds the
silverware tray on the door was missing and I found peices of it lodged in the check valve also.

It appears the pump is working but it won't discharge the water from the tub
Anyone have any Idea what part I may need.
Is there a seloniod that should be closing off the other functions of the water pump?
