Our ice maker won't dispense ice, crushed or whole. It will dispense water. When I press the dispenser bar, the light dims and a motor-like sound stops - but no sound is made at all, and nothing comes out. The fridge will make the cubes. I have taken out the ice holder and emptied it out, fiddled around with the bar/lever in the back, etc. but nothing has worked. However, after it quit working yesterday, it randomly dispensed ice last night for one serving, then nothing again. Help! We can't afford a repairman. Thanks.
