I have a Kenmore gas oven/range and the oven will ignite and begin to heat up but it never reaches the set temp. A while ago, when it still worked, it began taking longer to warm up to the set temp, now it just quit. The range works fine. Maybe it could be the thermostat since the temp is inconsistent. Also right when you turn on the oven it smells like gas, then that goes away. So maybe it could also be a bad vavle? Thank you in advance for your help!
