Since it is spinning this suggest the motor is turning the belt which is turning the transmission but not much is happening. The transmission is the likely cause of your problem.

the washer fills and agitates okay. then it empties water out okay when it goes into the final spin it sounds like the pump is continually running to drain the water out and the tub intermitantly spins a few quck revolutions but will not continually spin quick enough to get the clothes spun out....help
