Our refrigerator stopped making ice. However the water at the door continues to run. I'm told that the filter being old would not be the problem. I pulled the unit out and saw on the back of the unit that there was a blue tube running from the bottom to the top. I disconnected this tube where it connected at the top and no water was running through it.

Can I fix this problem somehow or do I need a technician?
