Jefro, You have a bad fill valve, or low water pressure to the dishwasher. Part number: AP3178610

Here is the control panel key sequence to enter the diagnostic/test mode, the unit should run a short cycle and activate all the components, in a matter of a few minutes, and should allow you to determine where the problem lies. If the above key sequence is entered with the dishwasher in Standby(off), the Diagnostics Cycle is started. The Diagnostics Cycle can be rapid-advanced, interval by interval, by pressing the Pots&Pans/Heavy or Anti-Bacteria/Cookware cycle key.

Dishwasher started making "whining/groaning" sounds and then quit. Maybe a pump? Are there any diagnostics I can do to find out which part failed?
