Take out the screws that hold the top to the frame and you should be able to see the lid switch wires coming from the console. You can by pass it with those wires and then see if the machine will spin.

Hello,

I access the front of washer and can turn the flywheel by hand. The washer will fill and drain but will not move. I am not sure how to test the lid switch. It appears to have a magetic type of connections.
