If you click on your model number you will be taken to exploded views of your model.

You can remove the heating element casing by taking out the screw that holds the metal strap at the top. Disconnect the other wires, noting how they go back on, and you can then take the element out of the casing and replace it.

HELP HELP HELP I am trying to remove and replace a heating element in a whirlpool clean touch dryer model # LEC6646A00 I have the back off but that is as far as I have gotten does any body have any scematic pics or an easy way to explain this to me on where i should start:eek:
