I ordered and received hoses #17, #23 and #27 as shown in the Tub - Interior/Outer diagram: Tub - inner & outer replacement parts for MAYTAG A183 WASHER-TOP LOADING | AppliancePartsPros.com

Now, I think I need to order hose #14 (see Cabinet diagram Cabinet replacement parts for MAYTAG A183 WASHER-TOP LOADING | AppliancePartsPros.com which does look like the hose I had dis-connected from the bottom of the Siphon Break, #11, to the base of the drum on the right, bottom.

I have a few questions:

1) Should I keep hose #27, if so, where does it connect in the Control Panel?

2) Do I need to make a connection to the top of the Siphon Break which has a needle like metal pin in the center?
