Thanks for your help. I already had the parts. Turned out it was the clock control. Replaced it and the oven is working fine.

1. Check keypad connector for firm connection (keypad connects to control board).
2. Press CANCEL. If error code returns after 60 seconds, replace keypad (also called touch pad or membrane switch). Some models incorporate keypad in to control board as one unit. In this case, replace control board (also called ERC or clock

My Whirlpool oven Model RBD245PDT15 has been acting very strange. It has presented a blank display, but if any buttons were pressed would come back on and the oven could be used. It then started to beep and go blank and nothing would make it come back on. If left alone it would then display again. Sometimes it would come up with an E6 F2 error code. By pressing the upper off button the error would go away and the clock would come back on. This has been going on for a couple of weeks. This past weekend, it went blank again and nothing would make it come back on. Several hours later, it came back on by it self, and has been on since. What do you suggest is wrong? The control panel(keypad), or the control board(clock control)? Or could it something else entirely?
