Yes, if the mother board is burnt, then you will need to replace the mother board. This part controls the compressor and turns it on and off. Here is the part number for you. Part number: AP4436216

I have a GE refrigerator: # PSS25NGMDWW. It is not cooling anymore and the motherboard at the back has a burnt mark.

Will the following part AP4436216 (motherboard replacement) fix my problem?
