  • Remove the tray on the bottom of the ice and water dispenser if applicable. To remove, pull the tray straight out.

    Look under the faceplate for the flat slot on the left or right side of the faceplate.
  • 3
    Insert a flat-head screwdriver into the slot, then gently pry the corner of the faceplate off of the ice and water dispenser.
  • 4
    Work your way around the perimeter of the face plate to separate it from the refrigerator.
