About the only thing I can think of is that to remind you that this nut is reverse threaded, and it is aluminum so it does tear up easily.

I am in the process of replacing a rotted hub. Got the hub nut at top of transmission. Cannot get it to thread. Stripped the nut & have ordered a new one to try again. any suggestions??:confused:
