We purchased a maytag range. The large front burner did not heat. We removed the old burner cracked. We replaced the burner. Assembled the cooktop turned on the dial and the indicator light besided the switch and the heat indicator light went on immediately but burner did not heat up. We returned the burner, was given a new burner and the same problem. burner did not heat up. We went back to parts store and repair man suggested new dial swiitch. We installed the new switch, the same thing with the 2 lights but the burner did not heat up. The burner costs $100.00, the switch $50.00. We do not know where to go from here.
