Joy,

As for your complaint, no display, but buttons work,

There's a 50/50 % chance you've got a bad relay board or control board.
(most likely a relay board).

The only way to know, is to have a multi meter and check the Low voltage at the J1 connector on the clock, from the relay board.

On your basic model,

First, turn off power to the oven, at the breaker/fuse box,

*** this is a live voltage test, be CAREFUL ***

You need to open the oven door,

Remove the 4 screws, holding the control panel to the oven frame, along the bottom of the control panel.

Pull out and up on the control panel sides to dismount the panel from the tabs at the top.
(you can put the oven rack in the highest top position with a towel, and lay the control panel assembly on the rack).

Find and unplug the J1 connector(4 wires) on the back of the ERC/Clock,

Turn the power back on.
On the wire connection, not the ERC/Clock,

There should be 12 DC Volts between the #1 and #2, wires in the connector.
There should be 20 AC Volts between the #3 and #4, wires in the connector.

If you have these voltages, you'll need the ERC/Clock.

If you don't have these voltages, you'll need the relay board, located on the right side wall of the compartment.

I think that will get you up and running.

The model number you supplied, is incomplete, of corse,
There are 4 different versions of that unit(the last 3 letters of the model number(a,b,c,d) and the last letter designates the color(w,b,q,s)

I used an "A" model for reference, based on your complaint, and color has nothing to do with the control area of the wall oven.

As best I can remember, using the model you supplied,

You have a J/A single cavity wall oven, with electronic control, and it is 27 inches wide.

:) :) :)
