Well darn. There is nothing in replacing a lid switch that should cause your machine to make noise. I see that you had an earlier post about replacing oil in the transmission. I am wondering if something from that repair is causing your problem?

My washer makes a lot of noisy at the end of the spin cycle. It did not start making the noise until I replaced the lid switch.
