oven won't light but broiler did. replaced oven ignitor and it works. the question i have is does the ignitor go off once the gas is ignited or does it stay on while the gas is on and then go off when the gas goes off? i thought i saw the ignitor cycle on and off until the gas ignited and then stay off until it needed to light the gas again, now i'm not sure.
