I hope someone can help us. We've bought a used Tappan gas (propane) range. At first the oven worked fine. But now it takes a very long time to light -- glow plug I think? The plug glows but doesn't ignite the gas. As I understand it, the glow plug is probably not getting hot enough to start the gas flowing. When we do finally hear the gas start, sometimes it ignites on its own, sometimes we have to light it with a long match. We would prefer to fix it ourselves. If it is a glow plug, is it possible for us to buy the replacement and install it ourselves? Sherry
