There should be a lock on that connection, either by pulling up on both sides, or pushing the locking clip to unlock it, then pull the ribbon cable out.

My touchpad display panel went out on my microwave, so I purchased a new one.
To replace I need to remove the circuit board from the old display panel frame. I was able to remove all connections except one--there is a strip of clear plastic about 1.5" wide with circuit boad connections inbedded in it, and it is plugged into a connection in the circuit board. I cannot seem to get it out and don't want to damage it. What is the trick to remove, then re-insert the new strip on the replacement?
