I have a whirlpool duet sport front loader washer, that is giving me alot of headaches!!!!! Everytime I use it, no matter what cycle ( normal, quick wash, etc) or what temperature it will stop on the rinse cycle and wont spin out. I have had to restart it on the rinse/spin/drain cycle as many as 5 times before. I called a tech and he said it sounds like the water pump needs cleaned out. I need advice asap! I work full time w/3 boys!!! I have alot of laundry mounting up! if this is the water pump, is this something a professional would have to do? or am I able to do it myself? Thanks!!!!
