can I tighten the dampening straps by turning them evenly?

Remove the front panel and check the tub dampening straps (#370 on the break down diagram).

Regarding the spin problem the first failure suspect is the motor and I would recommend to replace the belt too.

- The part number for the motor & clutch assembly is AP3160670

- The part number for the belt is AP2044592

:confused: when going into the spin cycle the washer will not spin. i have to spin by hand as fast as i can to kick start it. now it just won't spin. also the tube moves around alot. you can move it side ways and almost see down the inside.
