There are two water valves with the two solenoids each on the back of the refrigerator. Swap the wires between the solenoids on each of the water valves. Push the water dispenser release for a few seconds and for water in the ice maker. If there is water, replace the ice maker.

I have a ice maker that is not getting any water so that it can make ice cubes. I removed the ice maker from the frezzer and I also cleaned the bottom back of the fridge. We are getting water thru the dispencer and the water filter was replaced recently. I thought one of the valves in the back might have to be replaced. looking for anwsers.
