Gene - I cannot express how much I appreciate your help. What I by-passed was the safety therm....number 33 on the diagram. Also, the blower is operating well w/o any problems....again, thanks...

Check the blower wheel. Make sure it is properly attached to the motor shaft and not blocked.

Very likely the problem is a clogged dryer vent, causing the dryer to overheat. So it's cycling on the high limit thermostat instead of the operating thermostat.

Make sure the vent line is clean all the way through the vent outlet. If it goes on top of the roof, you have to call a vent cleaning guys.

Frigidaire gas dryer model FSG747GES1: burner ignites for a few mins then cycles off. When trying to ignite on further cycles, will ignite for a few seconds and then goes out. Ordered and replaced the coils. While waiting for the new coils to arrive, found a used model on Craig's list and bought for spare parts. Installed the new coils and same behavior. Changed the flame sensor and by passed the therm fuse. Again, same behavior...flame will not stay lit. The ignitor glows can hear the valve open, ignites for 1-2 seconds and then goes out. Any suggestions?..thanks in advance
