It make a noise (like belt slipping) when it is filling and then again when the drum starts to turn then the noise goes away. When it is on rinse we hear no noise.

I'm not sure exactly what type of sound you are hearing, but I see no belts on your unit that could slip.
Does it only make the sound when filling?

I have a Tromm Lg driect drive waser and when it fills with water, sometimes it sounds like a belt is slipping, any ideas. Does it hurt to continue using it?
