sprexfed,

Numbers from the owners manual are not complete model numbers. You have to look for the name plate on the unit.

If this is a freestanding range then it could be: under the top panel, on the frame behind the bottom drawer or on the oven door frame.

If this is a cooktop then it could be: under the top panel or on the bottom panel (inside the cabinet).

Gene,

Thanks for the speedy reply.

Other related model numbers given in the owners manual are:

2030, 3020, and 3010 for the 36 inch stove.

If I can get the part, is it something a do-it-yourselfer can install ?

Thanks,
sprexfed

Most likely the problem is a stuck gas burner valve which has to be replaced. The model number you posted does not come up.

No amount of twisting, tapping or otherwise, allows me to turn the front burner on. All other burners work (turn on and off) fine. Is there something that needs cleaning or replacing....and is it something I can do myself?

Thanks, sprexfed
