GenePic, Most likely the problem is a bad spark module. You can find the complete disassembly instructions in the Service manual. - The part number for the spark module is AP376124 Here are the break down diagrams for the Maytag range Model MGS5770ADWGene.

My Maytag Gas Range is a sealed burner system . The ignitor doesn't work at all. When I go to lite any of the top burners I can smell gas but none of the igntors spark or even make that "click" noise that occurs during lighting. I am sure this is a common problem. I need to know what the problems is, the part to be replaced and where it is located. Thanks for any help you can give me.
