There may be a problem with the lock wiring, or the wiring from the lock to the control board.

Use this service manual to check things out. It is a big file.

I have an Frigidaire Affinity washer that has given me nothing but troubles since we bought it a year and a half ago. Our newest problem with the washer is when you push the start button, you can hear the door lock and a relay click (both just like normal) but it won't do anything (fill or spin). Originally it stopped before the rinse cycle and we haven't been able to figure out the problem.

It is giving us an error code of E57. It looks like we need to check the door lock but I'm not sure what to check. Is the a diagram out there that I can get a look at? I'm confused because you can hear the door lock and when you pull on the door it won't open but it still has this error code.

Please help!

Thank you,
Crystal:(
