This week I purchased a new ice machine for our fridge - ours has been off for several years because it got plastic bag in it and burned up.
Anyway, when I went to hook it up tonight, I realized that I took the valve out of the plumbing under the sink for the ice machine. I can put a new on on there no problem.
But on the other end, when I went to look at the copper, I didn't really see a fitting that would marry the copper up to the thin white tube that goes to the ice machine. I know there has to be a fitting of some kind there or it will just leak all over the place.
Any idea what that fitting would be? also, how does the ice machine know to draw water? I don't see a mechanism for this - perhaps it is internal and I just don't see it, but it looks like the thin white tube goes up, into the refrigerator, and drains into a cup at the back of the ice machine.
Thanks for your help.Kenmo
