I have a whirlpool gold fridge m# gt22dkxgw01 made on 6/99. The ice maker quit working. Can the temperature in the freezer make it stop? If I pull the the front off of the unit and put it back on, the big dial makes a complete revolution. Is there a way to test the water valve? What is the tiny plastic screw on the right side of the controll head for?
