(We normally dont reccomend voltage checks). You may have shorted the control contacts. Hopefully and most likely, You shorted the switch inside the safety valve(oven burner valve). And it will need to be replaced. Insure that the power has been turned off (or the unit is unplugged) when doing circuit checks, removing parts, or checking wiring. Have a good day
