Open oven door, under the front of the cooktop are 2 screws, take those off. Lift cooktop up and disconnect the wire harnesses at the rear of the cooktop and the ground screw. Now with the cooktop lifted up a bit you need to get the rear of the cooktop off the rear pins. Lift one side of the rear up and off the pin, then the other side and your cooktop will be ready to replace. Just transfer the burners over to the new top and reverse installation. Getting the cooktop back on the rear pins can be a bit tricky, but not hard.
