I am also looking for advice on this same issue. The tear in my seal is about 1-1/2" long and located at about 5:00 o'clock. During my research I'm finding two things: 1) Spelling error: The correct website to go for help is WWW.Applainceaid.com 2) It does seem to be somewhat of an involved repair.

How difficult is it to change out the door gasket on my washer. I noticed a little bit of water on the floor intermitantly and then found a 1 /12 inch slice in the door gasket.
