I will have to try that. All I hear is a loud humming sound, I don't believe the motor is turning.

Having similar problem.. Have you tried running the washer on delicate? Mine will spin on delicate but not any other mode. I've posted on this site and others. Will let you know what I find out. Also, is your motor turning even when the washer will not spin?

Yes it agitates, fills with water and drains,but it does not spin.

I am having an issue with my washer,it seems that it will not spin. the washer agitates and it drains but it will not spin. all I hear is a humming sound from the motor I assume, I took off the bottom plate to inspect the belt, it seems to turn ok and doesn't appear to be worn or frayed. I am not sure what to look at next, can I get some suggestions?
