This is our only refrig/freezer... do I have any other options? From the hinge at the bottom of the freeze door to the outlet, is there any other restrictions? (check valves, etc?) could I try to dethaw, melt any other way? I can not seem to find a schematic to see what is in the door.

Sounds like the water line inside the freezer door is frozen. Make sure the temperature in the freezer is not bellow 0°F and the door was not kept open. The best way to fix it is to open the freezer door and keep it open for a few hours or until the water line is defrosted.

I have a Kenmore side by side where the water dispensor is not working. All selenoids are working fine becuase if I unhook hose @ coupling @ bottom of door/hinge & I use the water dispensor, water flows freely in a bucket. (water is not delivered to the door dispensor & can't even blow into it to clear any possible blockage. Is there another selonoid or check valve in the door? My gues is there is a kinked hose or blockage somewhere in the freezer door. has anyone had this issue & maybe have a schematic to show me how to pull the door apart to resolve this? Many thanks.
