on its way down it is making a loud banging noise , the ram goes up and down but just more loudly all of a sudden.
I am assuming greasing the ram screw would fix the problem but not sure plus I have no schematic diagrams. and i don't want to start tearing it apart with out a little insight from the pros.
any advice and some diagrams would be helpful
thanks in advance Try looking at the split nuts on top of the auger screws. Initially, you may have to remove the hold down bracket over the nut, split the nut and raise 1 side so it is level. If the problem continues, you may have to replace the worn split nut sets so the ram travels up and down level.
