Thanks for the info. I was able to rule out the motor being faulty.:) Seems to be just the coupler that went bad.

Here is the service manual for the direct drive washer. It's the type of washer you have. Check it out and see if it helps.

I'm looking to test the motor on our washing machine - it stopped working last night. I found the testing/replacing motor drive for this unit on your site. I went to do the continuity test but the colored leads on my unit don't match exactly what you have indicated. The motor I have has the following: black, blue, white-violet, white-orange, white-black and yellow.

Can I assume that in my case the violet in your instructions would be the white-violet and the white in your instructions would be the white-orange?
