[FONT='Times New Roman']This has happened to me 2 times (I have replaced around 70-80 seals) in the last 15 years. Both times I ended up replacing the tub to repair the problem. The tub may have a lifetime warranty (some had 10 years). Call GE and they may be able to send you a new one. [/FONT]

I replaced the seal #311 on the schematic. The washer is still leaking. dissambled again checked seal. No damage to seal. Is this leak caused by the bearing #309 being worn .038 to .040". The shaft on the transmission is 1.245" it is not worn at all in the seal and bearing areas. Is the seal deforming enough during operation to allow the seal to deform and let water under the seal?
