Check the circuit breaker for the washer and make sure there is 120 VAC at the washer outlet.

Open the control panel and check all wires and connections.

Check the lid switch.

Remove the washer cabinet. Check the motor.

Remove the pump and the motor and check how freely the transmission shaft is moving in both directions.
