I wanted to say thank you for your reply to my post. Fortunately for me I turned the dial forward to the rinse cycle and at first I was afraid I would do damage, but it ran its full cycle. This morning fingers crossed I ran a very small load and it work normally. I'm not sure what happened, but lesson learned, I will think twice before interrupting this machine mid cycle.

Remove the washer front panel and check the lid lock/switch assembly.

I intrupted the wash cycle I opened the lid to add socks to the load when I closed the lid the washer would not restart, I've tried switching it on and off, it's just stalled, this has never happened, and I did not over load the machine. Help. thanks in advance.
