Good Day,

Is it possible to remove a solenoid from the water inlet assembly of a Neptune MAH5500AWW?

My washer stops in the middle of the rinse cycle. Discovered the cold water solenoid seems to be the issue. There is continuity and it appears as if it's stuck or the inlet is clogged. I cleaned the inlet but it didn't do much good - no cold water when I start the machine with the temp selector on cold/cold.

Wound up putting cold water line on hot water inlet and selecting warm/warm. Machine runs through the entire cycle.

I do not use fabric softener and can use that solenoid. Wanted to know if swapping solenoids is possible. I'm afraid to start twisting solenoids without knowing if it's possible. I may break the inlet assembly and won't be able to use the washer until I get a new part.

Thanks for your help!

Thomas
