Thank you very much for your prompt answer. It was the motor. I didnt know that electric motors could get weaker over time and use.

If it washes everything else just fine even after the rugs were in there, I'd take them to a laundromat. I can't tell you as a service professional how many times rugs have caused major issues to washing machines. Odds are it just cannot balance them correctly and decides it's best not to spin them off balance at full speed.

washer wont spin out with rugs in it. spins out with everything else. used to do it with no problems. have replaced belt looking at motor control board or motor next. how can I tell if the motor is to weak now or not getting enough juice from control board. thanks
