Hi. Get a bucket. place it in front of the unit under the lower trap door that is approx. 3" x 5". Once open you un hook the black drain tube that is cliped to the backside of the door. Uncap and pour into the bucket the excess basket water. Then re cap it and clip it back up. Then unscrew the front of the pump 2-1/2" pump cover and carefully slide the long cupped shelf attached to the back of this cover. It is there to trap the debris before entering the pump impellor. Then reach in and see if the impellor is losly spinning on the pump shaft. If it is then the pump is Part number: AP4440742
