There should be plenty of room to get it out after you take off the top and take out the bolt.

But if you have to take off the lid, jsut take out the screws holding the hinges and you should be able to take off the lid.

I ordered a new agitator (part # AP2107246 made by Frigidaire) and want to know if I must remove the lid to get the part in the washer basket? The lid only goes up under the dryer which is a little more than 45 degrees.

Thanks for any info.
