The only way to diagnose a leak is to observe it. Take off the back and get a flashlight and operate the machine and see if you can see the source of the leak. Hopefully it is just a hose issue.

Hi there,

I have a 1.5 year old Amana front loading washer. We had to move it out of the laundry room this past weekend for painting and now there is fluid coming out from under the front left (if you are looking at the machine.) We checked the connections in back and they seem fine. Also, we can't tell if the leak is just water or some other fluid. It has that dry but wet feeling when I touch it (like turpentine.) Anyone have any clue as to what the problem may be?

Thanks!! :o
