There was no signs of oil. I just ran a cycle and the spin doesnt work throughout the washing cycle. It fills, agitates, drains then no spin, rinses, drains, no final spin.

Was the a slight oil messon the trany when you were under there or even on the inside of cabinet about 6 inches up was the a line of oil/greese... if so trans is leaking oil and has coated the clutch pads and clutch will need replaced

I replaced the direct drive coupling on the washer but the spin cycle will not work. The agitate cycle is working properly and the pump is working properly.
